Day 5 I am just writing this for personal reference and this is a note for myself to read in the future if I need to review my notes. There is no guarantee of anything for what I am about to say. Today in theatre class we worked on Brechtian styled Epic Theatre Movement. Now with Brecht, he wanted the audience to be analytical of his plays, he doesn't want them to be emotionally invested into his characters. Day 4 Today the cast and crew for our production Much Ado About Nothing, by William Shakespeare for those of you who do not know who wrote the play, started working on the play. Now the first week in general for the productions usually starts out with table discussions and a read though of the script. This is the stage in the production of a play where the cast and crew, "Get on the same page". For example the crew get a feel for the cast and start to understand the characters that the actors are making in order to set a mood with lights, costumes, and sound. Day 3 Just wanted to document here that I have been cast in my school's production in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing as Sexton! You have no idea how much I love being cast in a Shakespearean play, I have been in productions before, but I am going to count this as one of my first productions. It is a minor role, and I am fine with that. Every great ball player had to start from somewhere, but in this case I am talking about being an actor.
